Mining has been a part of my life since I was a kid. At a young age my father worked in the coal industry in Wyoming. I remember visiting the massive coal pits and being amazed by the large equipment. Growing up I was educated about the importance of mining and its impact to our everyday lives. As a teenager I worked in and out of my dad's mining consulting firm learning the ins and outs of the mining world. As an adult I decided to pursue a career in Mining myself. In college I pursued a degree in GIS & Cartography, then went on to San Diego State University where I received my Minor in Geology and my Bachelors in Civil Engineering. This mix of education has given me a valuable outlook on the world of mining.

My job opportunities have provided a variety of situations working on Geotechnical and Geological Analysis for Construction and Mining Sites. These opportunities have allowed me experience in designing Mining Operations in hard rock, sand & gravel, and gold. Performing Volume Analysis for extraction and backfill. Conducting inspections of Mining Operations for Stormwater Analysis, Resource Management, Annual Regulation requirements, BMP Management, Water Monitoring and testing, CO2 calibration, and geologic analysis. I am Experienced in GIS/Cartography and AutoCAD, using those skills for a variety of tasks to include GPS monitoring, creation of site plans, mine plans, utility plans, geologic mapping, cross-sections, volume analysis, stockpile calculations, and more. These opportunities have given me the ability to have worked on projects in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Washington state.
Having worked for both large consulting firms and smaller ones I understand the importance of time and working in a team. I will work with other consultants and help the team to deliver a complete project on-time. Every hour is valuable, and I will work hard to deliver in the time frame given.

LIFE SKILLS

I am a doer and enjoy living a life full of experiences. I am never afraid of trying something new or learning a new skillset. I like challenges and thinking outside the box. There is always something to gain from talking to new people and working with them on projects.

Outside of running my own business, I enjoy time with my husband of 20+ years and our four children. I thrive in the outdoors and enjoy sports that push you both mentally and physically. Whether I am competing in the Rebelle Rally as a navigator, on a glacier, climbing a volcano, backpacking a trail, on my mountain bike, or at a local CrossFit gym. I find joy in the challenges that life brings and do my best to take it all in.
