Mining has been woven into the fabric of my life since childhood. My father worked in Wyoming’s coal industry, and some of my earliest memories are of standing at the edge of vast coal pits, captivated by the scale of the operations and the power of the machinery. Those experiences sparked a deep appreciation for the role mining plays in shaping our world.
As I grew up, I was immersed in the industry—learning firsthand through my father’s consulting firm about the technical, environmental, and regulatory dimensions of mining. That early exposure laid the foundation for my own career path. I pursued a degree in GIS and Cartography, followed by a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Geology from San Diego State University. This interdisciplinary education has equipped me with a unique perspective—one that blends spatial analysis, engineering precision, and geological insight.
Mining isn’t just a profession for me—it’s a legacy, a passion, and a commitment to responsible resource development.

My career has offered a dynamic range of opportunities in geotechnical and geological analysis across both construction and mining sectors. I’ve contributed to the design and planning of mining operations in hard rock, sand and gravel, and gold deposits—bringing precision to volume analysis for extraction and backfill, and ensuring regulatory alignment through detailed inspections, reporting, and permitting. I bring advanced proficiency in GIS, Cartography, and AutoCAD, providing detailed Reclamation Plans, Volume Analysis, Site Plans, and any mapping essential to getting a project through the permitting process.
These experiences have offered valuable insight into permitting processes at both state and county levels. Working on projects across California, Arizona, Nevada, and Washington has deepened my understanding of the nuanced regulatory frameworks unique to each jurisdiction.
Having worked with both large firms, and smaller more specialized consulting agencies, I deeply value time management and team collaboration. I’m committed to working seamlessly with other consultants to deliver comprehensive, high-quality projects—on time and with integrity. Every hour counts, and I bring focus, efficiency, and dedication to every engagement.

Whether your project is large or small, I provide expert guidance through every stage of the permitting process. With a focus on efficiency and compliance, I help ensure your project reaches completion—on time and within budget.

LIFE SKILLS
I am a doer and enjoy living a life full of experiences. I am never afraid of trying something new or learning a new skillset. I like challenges and thinking outside the box. There is always something to gain from talking to new people and working with them on projects. Outside of running my own business, I enjoy time with my husband of 20+ years and our four children. I thrive in the outdoors and enjoy sports that push you both mentally and physically. Whether I am competing in the Rebelle Rally as a navigator, on a glacier, climbing a volcano, backpacking a trail, on my mountain bike, or at a local CrossFit gym. I find joy in the challenges that life brings and do my best to take it all in.
